Our Programs
Three priority areas guiding SEARCH’s work — addressing gender equality, education, protection, and community health.
Gender Equality — Women & Girls' Rights
Promoting and protecting women and girls' rights to ensure vulnerable populations in Liberia are empowered, informed, and protected from harm.
Women and girls especially those living in vulnerable situations have their rights promoted, respected, and protected.
Young people living in rural communities have increased access to sexual reproductive health information and services.
Education & Protection
Ensuring children — especially girls — are protected from all forms of abuse, and that vulnerable youth have access to quality education opportunities.
Children, especially girls, are better protected from all forms of abuse, exploitation, violence and discrimination in schools and communities.
Vulnerable women, children and youth who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out are supported to re-enter or complete primary and vocational education.
Health
Improving access to community-based healthcare for women, adolescent girls, children under 5, and other vulnerable persons across Liberia.
Women, adolescent girls, children under 5, and other vulnerable persons have access to improved community-based health care services.
Strengthening household access to integrated community-based health services and improving primary health care delivery through local partnerships.
